I went MIA last weekend

Sorry guys I went home to be with my mum last weekend and was there for three days. I actually brought back my 'kuda' and was really semangat to cyle kat kampung. In the end my kuda was just left idle ...hha ha ha. Reasons (hey I have to have at least two to make this legit ok :) )

1. The road was really heavy with traffic that my beloved wife vetoed the idea
2. It was raining in the evening

On the last day while trying to find a pasar sehari at Sega I saw a lone cyclist pedaling along the main road and I was jealous. Really I should have just took out the bike that morning.

Destination Putrajaya, May 27, 2007

Acong, Mazri, ‘Bang Cik’ and Faridza went out to UKM yesterday. I got some errands to do and managed to check-out the bicycle shop that Mazri mentioned just after the Simpang Balak junction. I spent a bit of time there chatting with the owner, an ex-Malaysian rider, about bicycle, mainly Trek, and several groups of cyclist around Kajang and Bangi. It was nice to know there are actually several groups of road and mountain biker in our area.

Today Mazri, Acong and I decided to go to Putrajaya. Since I had to send my daughter to school first I decided to take my bike with me on the truck and join Acong and Mazri at Sg Merab.

Mazri was already far ahead down at the far turning when I decided to stop for these shots. It was the road heading towards Limau Manis


We had just finished climbing up and down three very steep road before heading for Putrajaya

Arrived at Alamanda around 0845 and took our break before heading home

New Blog on the Block

A bunch of us guys from PT now practicaly every week would be out cycling, for now, closer to home. We started out arounf BSP and BBM, a week later to Nilai 3 then UKM. UKM has been our favourite. Once in a while we would go out to Jenderam and Sg Merab. The farthest that we have gone was 50 km. Our target fro next month would be PD.
